Vampire Weekend (with Beach House opening) at Merriweather Post Pavilion, Sept 12, 2010

I have to admit I hadn't done my homework and researched Beach House very well before the show. But it turned out I really enjoyed their set and would love to see them in a smaller venue sometime soon. Even better that they are a local Baltimore act.

Vampire Weekend put on a fine show.  Maybe I have become jaded after seeing them so many times before, but it was just a "fine" show.  It didn't blow me away. But maybe because the show was at Merriweather and I was stuck in a seat instead of being in the pit that took something from my enjoyment.  Hard to separate the "experience" from the show given by the band.
