Holy F*ck SXSW 2010

I left Two Cow Garage to catch these guys.  And I almost missed them, since it wasn't well marked how to get down to the south stage from the north stage at Don't Mess with Texas.  I enjoyed the music, but the show wasn't much after having just seen Two Cow Garage.  I know - totally different sounds, but still...

Oh, also, what is up with bands putting F*ck in their name? Doesn't that just hurt their branding in the end?  I know some people get off on the use of curse words and "oh, look how anti-establishment I am," but after the shock factor don't you end you just looking like a dweeb? And half the places that could talk about you end up changing your band name in some way (i.e. Holy F*ck).  Just doesn't seem wise to me...
